The Ginger Camel set the tone for last year when walking off the pitch in a pre season friendly and declaring “that really flicks my bean!”. Ginge played a very big part in a successful Thames Albion season last year, finishing as the team’s top assister with 12 from midfield. His ability to pick out a pass (on a good day) is second to none in the team. On a bad day it can be very bad and this is something he needs to keep consistent to remain in a highly competitive central midfield role this year. Ginge also possess’ the ability to be versatile and can play at left back as well, putting is some solid displays when required to so. Founder of the darts league, he will be hoping to take more money from the squad this year as oppose to the measly £8 he took last season! A real team player and in all honesty the heart beat of this team, without his dedication and provision of training facilities it would be hard to keep the Albion alive. I asked for more goals last season and didn’t really get them, but this was made up for is assists. This year I want more of both! Greedy I know.
