John DICKER

For me John was one of the top 3 players last season and was in my thoughts as 2nd choice for the Manager’s Player of the Year Award. His performances were very consistent last season, with very few mistakes, as he virtually owned the right back position, only not playing when not available. John still likes a whinge and finds it hard to accept that anything could be his or the defence’s fault! Since I last wrote his profile he has fallen into a long distance relationship after enjoying his summer off! Worst dancer in the team, John quickly makes up for it with his slick dress sense. The first King of the darts league in 2008/2009, he will be looking to retain the trophy as all attempt to dethrone him this year. I would like John to score this season as he deserves a goal for his defensive efforts. His game is very much about being a solid right back, rather than a meandering one who finds himself in the opposition’s box. Maybe this year he will notch 1 or 2! Like the photographer at Ian’s wedding kept shouting “open your eyes please!” Was challenged by Biff for longest on the shower last season, will the new boys be putting up a fight this year I wonder?
