In my eyes Michael had a fantastic first year with Thames Albion and was therefore named my player of the year. He grew as a player, and so did his stature (not height still a midget) within the team as he started to show real leadership qualities. After a few outings as Captain in Herod’s absence last season, I have decided to me name him as the first official Thames Albion Vice Captain for the forthcoming season. 2 years in a row Michael played in every competed in every outfield position showing his versatility, which has led to him holding the club record appearances with 31 in total. He also got his first goal in 4 years when playing on the left wing! When Mike isn’t sunning himself in any inch of light he can find, he is usually in the bedroom with his missus as he is an absolute sex pest. One of the worst Arsenal fans I know after deciding not to renew his season ticket this year, also doesn’t attend games when the going gets tough at the Emirates, great fan! Go on bite, bite, bite!
