The creator of this wonderful website let me down in November of last season, when love over took his life and he was no longer interested in maintaining it for me! Nick was last season’s joint top goal scorer with 10 competitive goals, and this may have come as a surprise to some. He did brilliantly to reach that figure when playing up front was not his most familiar role last season. He was deployed mainly on the right or in the hole behind the striker. However, no one will forget the 30 minutes he spent up front against Broxbourne Saints when he notched a hat-trick to help bring us back from 3 – 1 down to win 5 – 3. The holder of the first Thames Albion Hat-trick award, I expect even better things of Nick this year, and challenge him to beat his goal scoring tally last year and continue to be an integral part of this team. Was up there with 2 goals for goal of the season, but sometimes you have to question if he means what comes from his boot! Like his Jewish natives has tightened his belt and is now on a “budget” so that he can settle down and marry before next June, with the hope of a spring time baby!
