Tom Porter

Centre back extraordinaire; Tom Porter made waves in his debut season by scooping the Players Player of the year award. Renowned for his badly timed challenges, his lack of good time keeping, his black length and his peanut sized head. Tom is a fantastic player and proved it last year. He makes some wonderful tackles, brilliant blocks, uses silky skills with the ball between attackers, can take a decent penalty and is a commanding presence at the back. I will always hold Tom high in my thoughts as a replacement should our captain be absent or not selected to play. Scored a good goal last year, a 40-yard dash and 1 on 1 from the halfway line. Should definitely score more with his head, but just can't seem to hit the target!
